Coaching

Coaching to release trauma and build resources so you will have capacity to embrace challenge, deal with stress and switch off when it is time to go home.

Whether you choose a workshop or coaching, your programme is designed to swiftly empower you to be able to recognise and release trauma. All programmes are reviewed frequently with the time-frame created to fit your needs.

Unlike a stressful experience, a traumatic episode will be re-experienced when triggered until such time as it is released.

Many people choose to push away a traumatic experience, not wanting to feel the pain. This results in disassociation which can lead to PTSD.

Consider whether you have avoidant tendencies in your behaviour:

Do you choose to distance yourself from your emotions?

Do you numb your pain through escapism- could be alcohol, drugs or even overwork?

There are few people who do not experience trauma in their lives, and some people experience a great deal of trauma, whether through tough life experiences or at work.

The greater the trauma and the longer the build-up, the more urgent and imperative the release.

Trauma builds without us realising. It is cumulative if not released and has serious long term health implications.

Trauma impacts every part of the brain and can cause damage in the long term. It is stored in the nervous system and when triggered can be felt as a jolt in the body and can result in flashbacks.

Everyone’s response to trauma and vicarious trauma is unique. That’s why it is important there are choices provided in the workshops and coaching in relation to how to release. Whichever method you choose needs to feel right.

Once trauma is released, your capacity to take on challenges, deal with stress and switch off when it is time to go home will increase significantly.
